Our Team

Matt and Kirstin Funk

Matt is the lead pastor of Aspen Grove Church. He and his wife, Kirstin, moved to Parker in August of 2018 with their sons Sam and Drew. Matt served as the Pastor of Students and Families as well as a Worship Pastor at First Baptist Covington for 7 years before being called to plant a new church here in Parker. Matt got his Bachelor’s Degree from Berry College in Rome, GA and completed his seminary degree in Church Planting and Evangelism with Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and Liberty Seminary. Kirstin is a Spanish, Latin, and ESL teacher also with her degree from Berry College. She also serves as the Children’s Director at Aspen Grove. (Contact her HERE.) Sarah LaChance

Sarah is the Administrative Assistant for Aspen Grove Church. She and her husband, Christopher, moved to Colorado in the Spring of 2020, and shortly after welcomed their son, Noah. Sarah and Christopher started attending Aspen Grove Church after one of our outreach events in 2021 and have been members since. The LaChance Family loves to go on hikes, cook together, and watch movies.
