We have some great opportunities coming up for you all.  These activities are a great way to experience our vision here at AGCC – “Come as you are, be transformed, and go change the world”.  We want you to connect with other men, go deeper in your faith and serve.  So here are the upcoming events:

1.  Ultimate Men’s Retreat Informational Meeting This Sunday.

This Sunday January 15th after church, all the men of Aspen Grove Community Church are invited to an informational meeting about a possible men’s retreat.  Chris Miller from our preaching team will be presenting the idea of a men’s retreat to Gettysburg Pennsylvania in June of 2012.  He is an associate licensed battlefield guide at Gettysburg. On this retreat, he will not only tell the stories about the men who fought there but he’ll bring in biblical application from lessons he’s learned from his many trips to Gettysburg.  Even if you’re not a history buff, come and find out about this exciting possibility for the men at Aspen Grove.  This will be a purely informational meeting to assess interest. If there is interest in this retreat, it will be limited to 10 men.

2.  Quarterly Men’s Breakfast

On Saturday January 21st, we are holding our next church wide men’s breakfast.  It’s a great time to connect and get to know other guys at AGCC.  We have a great breakfast, good fellowship and have a time of teaching and discussion.  The time is 7-9am.  Yes it’s early but we know many of you have plans during the day with family and friends so this allows you to do both.  Sign up this Sunday or email your RSVP at: men@aspengrovechurch.org

3.  Facility Service Project

Sometime in the next month, we will be scheduling a work day(s) to install sound panels around the back of the chapel.  We did not have the time to complete this project when we build the building.  The sound panels will enable us control the sound system more effectively in the chapel.  Materials have been ordered and we will schedule the work days as soon as they arrive.  I want to encourage you to think about helping with this service project.  As a bonus, this is also a great way to get to know other guys in the church.   Details coming soon!
