Come as you are.
Be transformed.
Go change the world.
How? Take the 5×5 Challenge.
How do we as a church make this vision a reality? To help us make our vision a reality, we’re launching a church-wide initiative called the 5×5 Challenge. We’ve designed the 5×5 Challenge as an opportunity for us as an entire church body to live out our vision in a practical and consistent way. Taking the 5×5 Challenge will mature us as followers of Jesus. The Challenge will help us move from coming as we are to being transformed by God. Then in response to this transformation, we’ll go out to change the world.
What is the 5×5 Challenge?
The 5×5 Challenge is a year-long, church-wide initiative that consists of five basic activities: partner, pray, fast, give, and serve. To help give direction and consistency to each of these activities, we’ve come up with some simple guidelines (and here’s where the “challenge” part comes in). Click here to see the guidelines of the challenge.
- Blood:Water Mission (providing clean water in Africa)
- North Littleton Promise (addressing generational poverty in our own town)
- Homeless Ministry (initiated by our youth group)
- India Initiative (partnering with the Dalits)
- Prison Ministry (meeting the needs of those in the local juvenile justice system)
As we explore these ministries, we’ll also be focusing our prayers, fasts, giving and service in meaningful ways to partner with and expand these ministries. Click here to find out more about these ministries.
What is purpose of the 5×5 Challenge?
The purpose of the 5×5 Challenge is to expand our compassionate response to God’s world both locally and globally by:
• Educating our body about God’s compassionate heart for the world
• Exposing our body to the needs of our neighbors
• Exploring partnerships with both local and global ministries to meet those needs
Are You Up to the Challenge?
Great! Let’s discover together as a church how to live out the mission that God has us on.
Take the Challenge
