Elementary (1st-5th)
Firm Foundation Curriculum is a four-part curriculum, consisting of prayer, Bible stories, Bible memory, and Bible skills.
Firm Foundation Curriculum was developed by members of Chapel Hill Bible Church. It was written by authors convinced that solid content and factual knowledge are important, and that the elementary years are the perfect time to build this factual foundation. As the children mature into their middle school and senior high years, they will begin to utilize their newly emerging abstract thinking skills to analyze, interpret, and apply the facts learned in their elementary years. However, to enable children to grow not only in knowledge of, but also in love for Jesus, our program is built on a relational model wherein volunteers and children develop relationships with each other and where time is taken to respond creatively to the truths they are learning.
