Last year, we were able to give 37 scholarships and we hope to match that this year. Last year, the extra VBS funds went to provide school supplies ...

Welcoming The Stranger

Posted by:

You can’t miss the topic of immigration as it has been the subject of many of our conversations on the national level.  Many of the discussions I have had about the subject detail immigration reform and what America should do about it.  However, as a follower of Christ, I can’t just think as an American.  I have to submit my thinking to Christ and what the Bible says about the strangers living around me.  I would like to invite you ...

Stations of the Cross 2013
March 25th-29th, 6-8 PM

Ephesians 3:14-19
When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may ...

Why the Christmas Offering You Ask? To fund the startup costs of Mothers of Preschoolers Ministry at our church.

Posted by:

Before I get into the 3rd objective I want to thank you all for engaging with God about this offering. I have heard a few stories of how God has provided unexpected income to meet the desire He placed in people’s hearts. As I have shared with you before, I talk about generosity not to get funds for this ministry, God will fund the ministry as He sees fit, rather I care about it because I know if you seriously ...

This Week in Worship

Posted by:

Can you get too many presents for Christmas?
Like everybody else I love the Christmas season. I love the songs, decorations, food, and traditions of Christmas. And I love presents–both giving and receiving them. But as I thought about Christmas this week I wondered: is it possible to get too many presents?

Especially with young kids in my home, in recent years I have witnessed massive piles of presents on Christmas morning, boxes and wrapping paper as far as the eye ...
